Read Proverbs 3.5-6
One day, my friend went to town with his son by bus. They got seats but the seats were far apart. So, they sat separately and my friend told his son to sit still until he called him. On the way, more and more people got on and the bus became too crowded. The son couldn't sit still because he was worried that his father had gone or his father had forgotten him. So, he cried and stood up to look for his father. He tried very hard to find his father through the crowd. Finally, he found him and cried loudly. And his father said to him, "My beloved son, I won't forget you because you are my son. I was just waiting for the right time." The boy was so tired that he slept in his father's arms very peacefully afterwards.
God also watches over us even through the troubles and trials we go through. We are never alone. The more the crowd is around us, God is more watchful that nothing will go wrong with us until we realise God's presence and rest in peace.
Prayer:
Lord, help us to trust you and not to depend on our own understanding. Amen.
